In today’s environment many bars and restaurants struggle to find waiting and bar staff, causing the managers to be rushed off their feet. Hiring managers are regularly covering for staff shortages by putting greater demands on themselves and existing staff. Finding time to recruit in these circumstances means that recruitment can be slow. The best candidates have been snapped up by someone else before you get to respond to their CV. Where there are more than five roles at a location, we replace the final interview with a recruitment event where we add our expertise and manpower to organise and customise the event to your needs.
In this industry the key to a successful candidate is their personality and how well they can interact with the public. The most effective way to find this out is to meet them to get first-hand experience of their character.
We review CVs within 24 hours and our trained team reach out to the appropriate candidates to set up short face-to-face interviews. If they meet the requirements, we then immediately book them in for final interview with your hiring manager on a pre-agreed date and time. In front of house roles, the CV doesn’t tell us if we’d like to be served by the candidate but meeting them does. Most of the pressure is taken off you as the hiring manager as the only thing you need to do is meet the shortlisted candidates. You can create and post the adverts yourselves and we will take over from there, or we can offer advertisement alongside our recruitment service.
Traditional hospitality recruitment agents focus on management and specialist roles like chefs, so they charge a substantial fee. Our use of modern technology and our unique process allows us to charge a fee that works for Front of House hospitality.
